Insight founder, David Oliver, is a world-class inspirational trainer, speaker and author of 9 books. David writes every month to 16,000 opt in subscribers and is viewed by many as one of the leading trusted voices on practical company growth. David has also featured regularly as a sales and marketing expert in the press, on television, radio and as a keynote speaker for national companies and regulated bodies.
David also presents in-house workshops for accountancy firms, as well as one-to-one coaching for senior partners wanting to improve conversions from prospect appointments.
Joel Oliver - Managing Director
This business team is now run and managed by one of David's sons, Joel Oliver. Joel has been working with accountancy firms for the last 9 years. Over this period he has personally pioneered many innovative and effective approaches to new client acquisition for firms. He has led some of the largest strategic marketing and sales campaigns for national firms as well as being responsible for assisting hundreds of smaller practices achieve excellent growth. He is held in extremely high regard by many accountancy firms as well as associations such as ACCA, Peak Performance, ProBiz, RanOne and SWAT. Joel had a passion to create the largest online community of accountancy firms and has already achieved this with over 19,000 opt in practice owners, partners and managers.
John Braithwaite - Head of Digital Marketing
Head of digital marketing at Insight, John Braithwaite is a leading authority on digital marketing. John has spearheaded pioneering new approaches to digital marketing for modern companies. John has embraced and developed unique design concepts, effective PPC campaigning (he controls a PPC budget alone of over £20,000 per month), online video production, e-brochure marketing and much more. He is highly regarded by national companies and small businesses alike, as someone with great technical experience.
Dan Richards - Lead Generation Manager
Heading up all client services and the lead generation team for Insight, Daniel Richards has been instrumental in the growth of literally hundreds of companies. His team specialise in relational appointment generation and have been responsible for over one million phone calls, setting thousands of pre-qualified appointments for senior partners. Daniel advises a number of top twenty companies, as well as smaller businesses looking for predictable growth. There are few with his understanding and experience of lead handling and enquiry conversion for companies.
Dan has also personally led teams that have raised £millions through HNW investors, and helped establish national group and franchise brands and structures. He has led and been involved in expeditions around the world in some of the most beautiful and remote mountain country to be found.
Now a family man, most of Dan's time spent aside from work is with his 'girls' , still enjoying the great outdoors and country sports and with a local Church.
Andrew Booth - Head of Client Services US
Andrew leads the USA team at Insight. His telemarketing team has booked hundreds of appointments for clients that have resulted in new business won. Andrew has personally made 50,000 phone calls and has spoken in front of over 100,00 people. He has developed a broad understanding of the opportunities and challenges accountancy firms face in today's market. Andrew also has a wide ranging experience of event promotion and management.
When not working, Andrew is a composer and has released three albums. Andrew is married and has three young children. His favourite TV show is Spooks.
David Cooper - Senior Copywriter
David Cooper, senior copywriter for Insight Marketing, is viewed by many as the leader in the field of writing copy for accountancy firms. His experience is unique. Having qualified as an accountant with a top 6 firm, he also worked as a Finance Director and Managing Director before opting for a career in marketing – specialising in writing outstanding sales and marketing copy for companies such as American Express, Diners Club and Nightingale Conant. David has worked alongside some of the world's greatest marketers such as Jay Abraham, Bob Proctor, Peter Thomson and Richard Denny and now heads up our copy team. Personally either writing or signing off all clients' website copy, David works with you to ensure that what is produced blends your expertise with effective, response-driven text designed to bring your website to life.

Steffan Chyzak - Lead Designer
An extremely talented designer with extensive experience in web design, illustration, photography and print. Steffan studied at the University of Hull with a BA (Hons) in Applied Digital Media and won the Multi-Media Graphics Shield for "Student of the year". He went on to become an Adobe Certified Associate, completed his MSc in Digital Media and became a regular college lecturer.
Before joining Insight Steffan was the lead designer in a advertising marketing organisation and has carried out work for organisations such as Sky Sports. Initially working as a designer for Insight he has now progressed to become lead designer, involved in ensuring every customer project is uniquely designed to our clients exact requirements. Steffan is also an avid Apple Mac enthusiast and iPhone fan.
Outside of work Steffan enjoys his toys including fast cars, playing the drum kit and good quality Scottish coffee.
Peter Grochowski - Development Manager
Peter is a highly motivated developer with extensive experience and up to date knowledge of web development, software development and advanced programming. He has an excellent reputation for high end development work. Possessing excellent problem solving skills, a logical and accurate approach to work and the ability to maintain high standards whilst meeting deadlines. An effective communicator with good planning and organisational capability, Peter is an excellent Lead Developer.
Outside of work Peter is an outstanding guitar player, family man and can complete a Rubiks cube in under 1 minute.
Pauline McMaster - Client Services Manager
Pauline is an extremely talented individual with significant experience and a wealth of knowledge. Having over 30 years experience in both Office and Managerial roles working for organisations such as The Inland Revenue, BT and Orange before joining Insight.
Pauline is an a team player, very versatile and an excellent communicator.
Outside of work Pauline enjoys travel, eating out and great wines and when we can spare her she particularly enjoys time at her apartment in Tenerife and is an avid sun worshipper.
Ian Crawford - SEO Manager
Ian has worked with web content and search engine optimisation (SEO) in several capacities; as a consultant with a successful digital marketing agency, as a freelance web content writer and as an in-house copywriter for a major international company. As part of the Insight team, Ian steers the on-page and off-page search engine marketing campaigns to help achieve better search engine rankings.
He takes a keen interest in the fast-moving world of search engine marketing, and when not knee-deep in keywords and Google bots, he enjoys strumming the guitar, live music, philosophising and cooking (eating).
Andrew Leonard - Accounts
Andrew is passionate about accountancy, and has over 8 years experience working in the Motor, Printing and Manufacturing Industry.
He is responsible for all the day to day running of our accounts department, as well as preparing management reports.
Andrew should be the first friendly voice you hear when calling our accounts department, and is always willing to help with any queries you may have.
He is a fan of most motor sports, and gets out most weekends with friend on his motorcycles.
Gary Hosey - Training Manager
Gary has over 17 years experience in Training and Management Development, High Impact Coaching and Customer Relationship Management.
His role as Training Manager requires flexibility and experience to deliver consistently high-quality training. Gary has been a senior training designer for over 10 years. During this time he has managed large teams of trainers, facilitators and specialists in human resources, operations and business support. Some of his main delivery experience includes: Team Diagnostic, Dynamics and Development; Authentic Leadership for Senior Managers; Emotionally Intelligent Teamworking.
Gary has extensive experience with executive and behavioural coaching (certified). He has EQ-i and EQ360 accreditation for Emotional Intelligence Development. Having personally carried out over 500 individual 1:1 sessions with feedback, he is considered a leader in this field of Emotional Intelligence combined with coaching.
He has wide experience of delivering high-quality programmes to over 25% of The Times Top 200 organisations, both nationally and internationally
